March/April Bookclub Pick-The Summer We Fell Apart -by Robin Antalek

Hi Girls,
I am not sure how we want to utilize this blog but I'm sure something will grow out of it. I thought we could atleast post the book and maybe a few questions about it or our thoughts about it? Also, it will be great because Devon can participate from Singapore if she wants!
I thought we can also add links to websites, photos, etc that might help us enhance our experience in reading the book.
So, I found a discussion question online if we want to try this out. Its about the opening of the book so hopefully won't be a spoiler for anyone:
1. In the opening chapter of The Summer We Fell Apart, Amy, the youngest Haas sibling, tells how Miriam, an exchange student from Switzerland, arrives on their doorstep with little more than a terse, flip announcement from their father before he departs for Europe. Miriam is not the only surprise that summer, as Amy discovers when her brother Finn returns to the family home seemingly adrift. With George about to depart for college, Amy is scrambling to make sense of what has happened to her family. What do you think of Amy's reaction to the situation? How do her brothers handle it differently from her? Why do you think Miriam stays when she is obviously unwanted?
